My approach

IS DIFFERENT

My main goal is to capture the two of you as you are at that moment. You can be filmed by anyone on a beautiful background. The point of my film is not in the film itself at all. Sounds weird, doesn't it? Let me explain. What kind of memories do the "beautiful" videos bring back, if they were created in a moment when you felt embarrassed, uncomfortable? And on the contrary, what feelings do the blurry, incomplete - "bad" shots, that you took with your phone in a really beautiful moment, awaken in you?

 
What does it help you if, when you look at the wedding film, you don't go back to beautiful memories, but unpleasant ones? That's why I focus on you and your relationship in the first place. The film comes only after that. Before we start filming, I create a safe space for you where you can truly be who you are. This helps me capture honest moments of your vulnerability in experiencing the big and small emotions of the day. I give you the space to stop, to really experience what is happening next to you.
And yes, the first 10 minutes are going to be strange and a bit unnatural for everyone, especially for those who are not used to being in front of the camera. But I promise you, before you know it, you'll be focused on your loved one in the given moment!
My style is focused on authentic moments. I put your well-being and relationship first. I will not force you to do anything strange or unpleasant. There will be no posing and forced smiles. I will give you simple natural tasks that will enable you to relax, open up and will allow you to be who you are. The point of all this is that, in the wedding film, you will feel as yourself and not as an unnatural version of yourself.
Anyone can shoot a nice film of you two. But I strive for more than that. I want to capture something more precious and important. I want you to be involved in every part of this process. That way, in the end, this film will truly be yours and a part of your story. Messy, imperfect, emotional, vulnerable, with wide smiles and eyes full of tears.

My Process

What can you expect

Hey, glad you two are here! Before you is a detailed overview of my work process, from the introductory meeting onwards. If you still have any questions after reading this, you can include them in the contact form or send me an email. If you are interested in booking a wedding film shoot or you want to discuss my services further, we can arrange a free meeting via Zoom.

Introductory meeting

After sending the inquiry, I will send you a tentative wedding film offer and some basic information about my work. Then we set a date for the introductory meeting (chat over tea live or via Zoom) where I present my workflow in more detail, and together we clarify all questions and possible concerns. This is followed by an overview of the plan of your wedding day and the preparation of an approximate timeline for wedding film shoot. Then I adjust the tentative offer according to your wishes.

Reservation

After the introductory meeting, I will email you the offer and the contract prepared specifically for you, as agreed at the meeting. If necessary, we adjust the contract and the offer at this point to meet your wishes. Then, after signing the contract, you send me one signed copy (electronically or by post). In order to finalize the reservation for the wedding film shoot, an advance of 40% of the total price must be paid within ten days after signing the contract. Then your date is booked.

A month before the wedding

A short meeting where we review the timeline of your wedding day. Overview of all information about locations, schedule and other details that are important for the smooth flow of your day. This is followed by payment of the full price of the wedding film.

Wedding day

The video coverage of the wedding day takes place according to the agreed schedule. I make sure that I unobtrusively capture all the really important, unique and emotional moments. Of course, I try to adapt to unpredictable situations to the best of my ability. In all probability, I will cry and laugh with you and join you on the dance floor later to better capture the fun atmosphere and playfulness of the wedding party.

Ten working days after the wedding

I send you a short video teaser, a preview of the wedding film, with which you can relive the moments of your day.

Hundred working days after the wedding

You will receive the final wedding film via a private YouTube link and Google Drive. You can save it and share it with your loved ones. Take your time and watch it together in peace with a glass of something good. Go back in time and relive your wonderful and unique day.

What you are usually interested in

When should we contact you?
For wedding film, I suggest that you contact me 8 - 12 months before the wedding. Especially if you have chosen a date during the wedding season (between April and October). I accept a limited number of weddings per season, as I want to devote myself 100% to each of my couples.
How do we book you?
To book the date, you pay a non-refundable advance (40% of the full price) upon signing the contract. The remaining part must be settled no later than 10 days before the wedding.
When can we expect the film?
Within 20 working days after the wedding, you will receive the video teaser. You will receive the entire film within 100 working days.
How do we receive the film?
You receive both the video teaser and the full film in two ways. Via a private online gallery and via YouTube link.
How should we set the timeline?
It is important that you follow your priorities and wishes when setting a timeline. For a film shoot, I advise you to set aside at least one hour that day. I would recommend it at the start of the dinner. This is usually the time of the sunset, which offers the most beautiful light, and at the same time, the wedding guests will miss you the least.
